Designed specifically for grades 6–8, this immersive London program goes beyond the city’s famous landmarks to explore British history, theater, design, film, food, and everyday culture.

Through hands-on workshops, historic sites, live performances, interactive experiences, and citywide exploration, students experience London as a living classroom. Along the way, they build confidence navigating an unfamiliar environment, trying new things, and discovering a different culture alongside their classmates.

7-8 Day Itinerary

A Program, Built to Be Customized

This itinerary is designed to showcase London as more than a collection of famous landmarks. Students encounter history, literature, theater, design, food, and contemporary culture through a mix of iconic sites and hands-on experiences.

Day 1 | Arrival & Introduction to London

Arrive in London, meet your EdOdyssey Program Leader, and transfer to your accommodations. After getting settled, students begin exploring their new surroundings through an interactive team experience that introduces them to the city.

Gather for a welcome dinner at a local British pub and begin the week together.

Day 2 | Towers, Bridges & London History

Step into centuries of British history at the Tower of London, exploring stories of royalty, power, politics, and everyday life.

Continue across Tower Bridge and along the Thames before experiencing another side of British culture with an evening performance in London’s legendary West End.

Day 3 | Windsor & Royal Traditions

Travel beyond central London to Windsor Castle, one of Britain’s most famous royal residences. Explore the castle and discover how centuries of royal history and tradition continue to shape British culture.

Return to London for afternoon tea before passing Buckingham Palace and exploring the lively streets and public spaces of Covent Garden and the West End.

Day 4 | Shakespeare, Theater & London Culture

Bring literature and history to life at Shakespeare’s Globe. Students tour the iconic theater and take part in a hands-on workshop that explores Shakespeare through performance.

Continue to Borough Market to experience London’s vibrant food culture before gathering for a traditional British roast dinner and evening activity.

Day 5 | British Film & Storytelling

Go behind the scenes of British filmmaking with an immersive studio experience exploring storytelling, costumes, sets, props, and production. At the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, students see how designers, filmmakers, artists, and craftspeople work together to create cinematic worlds.

Continue the evening with dinner and an interactive group experience that brings students together outside the classroom.

Day 6 | Design, Community & Creativity

Explore how design shapes the world around us through a hands-on workshop at London’s Design Museum. Students then connect with the local community through a service activity before enjoying final time in London.

Gather for a farewell dinner and reflect on the week’s experiences together.

Day 7 | Departure

Wrap up the experience with breakfast and a final program reflection before traveling to the airport for the journey home.
