The United Kingdom is an archipelago comprised of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. All of these countries are subject to the British Monarchy and Parliament, led by King Charles III and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, though Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland do have a degree of autonomy in governance. The United Kingdom, especially in its cities, is known for its cultural diversity and cultural exports, including literature, film, television, theater, music, and artworks.
