STEP 3. Pre-Odyssey Map
Once we have a finalized itinerary we create a Pre-Odyssey Map, which will serve as our guide up to departure. This checklist includes important dates, program itinerary and fees, educational information for students and parents, and other vital information about our odyssey.
STEP 5. Get Ready!
Once we have filled the program it's time to start getting ready for departure. Guided by the pre-odyssey map, we will help you collect program fees, apply for visas (if applicable), and answer any questions.

STEP 7. Here We Go!
After months of preparation it's finally time to learn about the world through discovery. Your full-time Program Director will meet you at the departure airport and from take-off to our return home we have everything covered. During the entire duration of the experience the Program Director will send regular updates by e-mail to the school administration and parents and our crew is available 24/7 for questions, support, and emergencies.
STEP 2. Program Creation
Guided by everything we learned about your school we will propose several different options reflecting your goals and requirements. After your review the program proposals we have another conversation. Guided by your thoughts and feedback we continue to tweak the program until you are totally satisfied and believe the program is perfect for your students.
Included with the program proposal is the program fee. The program fee varies depending on destination, length of program and the activities during our odyssey. We work closely with institutions to assure the program fits within the desired budget. And, because the program fee is all-inclusive, you know the total cost up front. There are no hidden-costs or "add-ons." Every day is jammed-pack full of adventure and fun and it's all included.
STEP 4. Invite Students
Now that the logistics are set and we have an incredible program ready it's time to invite students to register. Don't worry - our crew has this covered too. We will help you advertise the trip and get the world out with custom posters, pamphlets, and presentations. If possible, one of our crew members will even host an information session for interested students.
STEP 6. Pre-Departure Meeting
For many students and parents traveling is new and sometimes overwhelming. We totally understand. That's why 2-6 weeks before departure we schedule a pre-departure meeting (for all high school and some college programs) with students, parents, and faculty chaperones. This is a great time for students and parents to meet some of the EdOdyssey crew, learn more about the program, and ask questions.
STEP 8. Share the Experience
After our program we will work with the school and faculty leader(s) to help facilitate opportunities for students to share their experiences with their peers, parents, and the entire school community. We believe everyone can benefit from these life-changing experiences so we want to encourage students to share what they saw and experiences when they return home.
