Meet our Leadership Team:

Kaitlyn, Director (USA)

Kaitlyn began traveling the world at the age of 14 when she journeyed to Paris, France to participate in a short-term French language program. Ever since, Kaitlyn has jumped at any opportunity to travel. As the Program Director for EdOdyssey, Kaitlyn is constantly working to add new programs, make new connections around the world, and works closely with institutions to develop the perfect programs. Her ultimate responsibility is to assure every program we create meets our high standards, is authentic, and of the highest quality. Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Hampshire and is presently working on a Master's Degree at Harvard University. In her free time Kaitlyn loves to run. In fall 2015, she completed her first marathon in Ireland!

Since that summer he hasn't stopped traveling. To date, he has traveled to more than 40 countries and has spent considerable time living and studying in Spain, Kenya, Peru, and China. He has participated in and directed dozens of global programs on five continents. Luciana, Director (Latin America)

Luciana has always been passionate about international education. A graduate of the American school of Lima, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, she continued her education in the United States at the College of the Holy Cross where she studied psychology. Luciana believes in the power of books, exams, and traditional education, but also knows firsthand the power of experiential education and travel. Still today, one of her most fond memories of high school was a program in the Peruvian jungle with her peers because it complemented what she was studying in biology class and made the material “come alive.” In her role, Luciana works with schools throughout Peru and Latin America. She also leads programs in the region and oversees our reflection curriculum that is an integral part of EdOdyssey’s programs so that students get the most out of their experience. Luciana is fluent in Spanish and English and continues to work to improve her French.

Rey, Director (Latin America)

Rey knows the power of global education first hand and is now passionate about promoting the power of international travel and global educational programs. Raised in Peru, Rey came to the United States during college where he learned English while working and studying in Boston. Now, as the Director of Latin America for EdOdyssey, he manages EdOdyssey's programs throughout Central and South America. Rey works tirelessly to expand our authentic activities and excursions so students truly experience Latin America. Rey graduated from the prestigious Universidad Católica del Peru in Lima, where he currently resides. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new places and meeting new people around the world.

Veronica, Director (Asia)

Since her first international trip at the age of 9, Veronica has taken every travel opportunity that's come her way. Her love for learning about other cultures, peoples, and languages led her to Mexico, Guatemala, and Peru where she learned Spanish. In college, her desire to learn more about the Chinese side of her heritage took her to China where she studied abroad for a year in Beijing. She fell in love with the country and its chaos, contradiction, and constant change. After graduating from Boston College in 2010 with a degree in International Studies she returned to China where she work for a leading educational travel company in Beijing for 4 years before joining the EdOdyssey team. Since finishing her undergraduate degree Veronica has also worked at Draper University.
