1. Check out the program itinerary:
Take a look at our itinerary and get excited! The itinerary will give you an idea of what is in store for you in Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu. The program is 9 days long and will take place during fall break (September 29 - October 8, 2017). Please note exact dates will be determined once flights are reserved. This program is open to all AIS Spanish-language students in grades 6 - 12.
The goal of this immersion program is to introduce you to Peruvian and latino culture, cuisine, history and traditions in a fun, experiential way. As Spanish students, we will also challenge you to communicate in the target language (Spanish) as much as possible!

2. Complete EdOdyssey's Voyager Information Form & Program Agreement/Release AND submit $1,000 deposit by September 6, 2017
Step 2: PART i of ii
Please complete this voyager information form and agreement/release as soon as possible to reserve your spot in the program. This gives us all of the information we need to begin making arrangements for our group. This information you provide us (name, citizenship, etc.) should exactly match your the passport you will use to travel.Please note for this program enrollment is on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. To keep the program small and intimate there is a strict limit of twenty-four students.
Step 2: PART ii of ii
As soon as you have completed the form (above), please also submit a $1,000 deposit check to AIS' Business Office. Checks should be made out to "Atlanta International School."
3. Obtain a new passport / renew your passport (if applicable) by September 20, 2017
Every voyager will need a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of return from Peru. For more information on applying for a passport or renewing your passport, visit the USPS Passport Page. Due to the limited time frame if you do not currently have a passport you must choose the "expedite service."
4. Share Passport Information by September 20, 2017
Once you have a valid passport, please email a scan or picture your passport information page to firstname.lastname@example.org please put "lastname-AIS0917" as the subject line for example: "SMITH-AIS0917" or "VELASQUEZ-AIS0917"
5. Submit Remaining Program Fee + Airfare by September 20, 2017
Please submit payment directly to the AIS Business Office for the remaining balance. Checks should be made out to "Atlanta International School." Due to the short time between the start of the school year we sincerely appreciate your prompt payments. Thank you!
Payment - $TBD due by Thursday, September 20, 2017
$1,200 + airfare (estimated to be $500-900; exact cost will be shared as soon as airfare is reserved)
6. Make note of your international flight details
We will meet as a group at Atlanta's Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport on TBD at TBD. Please plan your morning carefully so you are on time.

7. Attend Student-Parent Pre-Departure Meeting on Tuesday, September 26 at TIME TBD
Before departure EdOdyssey always hosts a pre-departure meeting with students, parents, and faculty chaperones to review the itinerary, finalize details, answer any questions and get to know the students that are joining us on our odyssey.
Our pre-departure meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 26 at TIME TBD in ROMM TBD at Atlanta International School. Students and parent(s)/guardian(s) should make every effort to attend as this is an important meeting. We will review all of the final details, distribute several important documents, and answer any final questions.
